Meetings

The Mary Martha Guild meets the third Saturday of every month at 9:00 am, in the Sam Adams House (the "white house" on the west side of the Rectory), located at 314 Duke Street.

By devoting one hour or more per week, Guild members design and maintain our church in harmony with the liturgical calendar. Guild membership is ideal for mothers and daughters who wish to serve the church in a special way. All parishioners are welcome to become members. For more information, please contact Mary Petrino at petrinomad@aol.com.

The Mary Martha Guild is a new service society open to those who wish to honor Our Lord in His Real Presence and to grow closer to Him through prayer and special service to our historic church.

  • Guild members may donate as little as one hour of service per week, either in church centered or home-based activities that support Guild projects.
  • Artistic and craft skills are most welcome, but devotion to Our Lord and Holy Mother Church is the most essential attribute for Guild membership.
  • Responsibilities include the planning of church decorations and the daily care of flowers and plants that adorn the sanctuary and other church areas during the liturgical year, for the following times and events:
    • Advent Season [Four Weeks]
    • Forty Hours Devotion

  • Rev. John De Celles serves as the Spiritual Director to the Guild.
